Dark Night of the Scarecrow was a made-for-TV film from 1981. Starting role is Charles Durning, who portrays an evil mailman who has it in for the local retarded man (buba), played by Larry Drake, who's best friends with a little girl named Mary Lee. One day Mary Lee is attacked by a Dog, and everyone think's it was BuBa who did it. Now the Mail man has an Excuse to Go out and Hunt him Down, and Kill him.  Little they know That BuBa will come back has the Scarecrow to Avenge his Innocences.
